Former ISU Quarterback Mike Machurek to Speak at Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Idaho Gala

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Idaho will welcome former NFL quarterback and Idaho State legend Mike Machurek as the special guest speaker at its 4th Annual Great Futures Gala on Saturday, September 19 at the ICCU Alumni Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Machurek led the Bengals to the 1981 National Championship before continuing his football career in the NFL. He is also a former Boys & Girls Club Kid and will share how the Club helped shape his life and his journey from the Club to college football and the NFL.
ISU President Robert Wagner will also be in attendance with his wife, Tracy, and will provide remarks on the importance of the Boys and Girls Club for SE Idaho and how it can impact higher education.
The Great Futures Gala supports safe, affordable after-school and summer programming for youth throughout Southeast Idaho. ISU employees and alumni are invited to purchase tickets, reserve a table, sponsor the event, or help spread the word.
