POCATELLO – The Alpha Phi Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha at Â鶹´«Ã½AV will induct Ninth Circuit Court Judge N. Randy Smith at 7 p.m. Friday, May 4, during the Department of Political Science Graduation Celebration at the Rendezvous Center ABC Suites.

POCATELLO - You might say pharmacy runs in the family at Â鶹´«Ã½AV. When ISU commencement concludes this Saturday, a total of eight members from one local family will be part of ISU’s College of Pharmacy alumni roster.

ISU's Jillian Christiansen successfully uses dual-enrollment program advantage; graduates with two degrees in two years

POCATELLO – In 2016, Jillian Christiansen graduated with her high school diploma from Renaissance High School, in Meridian, and her Associate of Arts degree from Â鶹´«Ã½AV. Christiansen is one of many students who have participated in ISU’s dual-enrollment program at Renaissance High School. She will graduate in May with two bachelor’s degrees, one in political science and one in international studies.

POCATELLO - The overuse of opioids is an area of significant concern for a multitude of organizations and agencies across the state of Idaho, the United States, and even the world. Those in the healthcare professions at Â鶹´«Ã½AV (ISU) are working to be a part of the solution by conducting research, making changes to their curriculum, and encouraging partnerships with other groups who are working toward the same goal: combating the ever growing opioid epidemic.

Idaho Museum of Natural History fundraising for science camps during Idaho Gives

POCATELLO – The Idaho Museum of Natural History on Â鶹´«Ã½AV Pocatello campus has a full line-up of “Building Young Scientists” camps and activities this summer for K-12-grade students and will host an Idaho Gives 24-hour fundraising event on May 3 to help fund these programs.

POCATELLO — Ten Â鶹´«Ã½AV students, faculty members and organizations were honored with Benny Awards for their spirit, hard work and positive impact on the University by the Associated Students of Â鶹´«Ã½AV and the Office of Student Affairs. The Benny Award winners were honored this week at a banquet held in the Pond Student Union. Below is the full list of winners.

Idaho State will award degrees and recognize ISU-Meridian Student Excellence Honorees at May 7 commencement ceremony in Treasure Valley

BOISE—Â鶹´«Ã½AV will award a record number of degrees in the Treasure Valley at commencement May 7—with 315 students eligible for degrees, including 73 Renaissance High School students who will receive associate degrees in general studies through a partnership with ISU and the West Ada School District. The ceremony begins at 6 p.m. at the Boise Centre, 850 W. Front St.
