POCATELLO – Âé¶¹´«Ã½AV will host 15 international choirs during the eighth Idaho International Choral Festival on July 19-24.

Don Paulson Retirement Party Set August 16

Don Paulson, Director of the University Counseling and Testing Center will retire after 25 years of service at ISU. The date we have feared, yet anticipated for years, is August 16, 2016.  A retirement party in his honor will be held in the Stephen's Performing Art Center Rotunda, Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM. All are invited to share in this celebration. We all extend our best wishes to Don as he takes a long and much-deserved vacation.

Bethany Shultz Hurst Awarded Fellowship

Bethany Shultz Hurst, Assistant Professor of English, has been awarded a literary arts fellowship from the Idaho Commission on the Arts.

Brian Attebery is Editor of New Volume

Dr. Brian Attebery Professor of English, is editor of the Library of America's series of reissued major works of Ursula K. Le Guin. Here is a link to Brian's essay about the first volume, The Complete Orsinia, which is due out in September:

Matt Levay named Southeast Idaho Professional of the Year

Dr. Matt Levay, Assistant Professor of English, has been named one of the SE Idaho Professionals of the Year, an award sponsored by the Idaho State Business Journal.
