Course Transfer and Refund Policy

We are committed to making sure you have a great learning experience, and we want you to be confident in your course choice from the start.

Before You Request a Refund

Most learners find that a quick course change solves the issue. If your schedule or needs have shifted, we're happy to help you move into a better-fit course at no cost.

Free Course Transfers (Recommended Option)

If your plans change, we offer a simple, no-fee transfer option:

  • ✓ Transfer within one month of registration
  • ✓ No processing fees
  • ✓ Move to a course that better fits your schedule or goals

This option keeps you on track without delays.

Refund Eligbility

You may request a refund within one month of registration if you have not started the course (i.e., opening any module within a course).

Approved refunds are issued minus a $15 processing fee per course.

Once any module in a course has been opened, the course is deemed in-progress and non-refundable.

Special Situations

We understand that unexpected things happen. We may consider exceptions for non-elective situations, including:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Military deployment

Documentation may be required.

How to Request a Transfer or Refund

We're here to make this easy. Send a request to albion@isu.edu.

Include:

  • "Albion Transfer/Refund Request" in the subject line
  • Name used at registration
  • Course title
  • Whether you would like to transfer courses or receive a refund

Processing Time

Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days. Banks may take additional time to post funds.
